I have been using Dynamic Product Options by ITORIS and his support is fantastic. It is tedious but definitely the best workaround. I have tried all the other solutions Nick has mentioned. I had major issues with BOLD not charging the correct amount ...

 The other apps introduce more issues and make things way more complex than they have to be. Way to go Shopify, keep milking us for every little thing.
