Crazy. It is almost like that don't know how any of us run a business? Why would it ever make sense to count sold items in a snapshot of stock. Honestly terrible.  Some businesses sell before making the item. So that means they wont fulfil for weeks ...

I also called the support today and they have absolutely no idea about the update or what I was talking about. Sums it up really.

Yes. Same for us. The most confusing and pointless update I have seen. When would we ever need to see something that has been sold when looking at our stock?
