Are GDPR webhooks mandatory for private apps?

I see in the docs it states that GDPR webhooks are mandatory for 'private apps'.

Does that mean I don't need it , for the 'private app' or 'custom app' we may build.

Or is the documentation misleading and GDPR webhooks are mandatory for 'all' apps

Hi @tobegold ,

No it's not mandatory for custom and private apps, although for customer data request you may want to add that webhook, otherwise it will be just fine.

Even the shop/redact webhook they don't insist you have for private/custom apps?

I could see them wanting that
