Shopify data Integration with whatsapp business

Our actual requirement is something like this -

1. We are whatsapp business API providers and provide the same to many of our clients.

2. We have a client who uses Shopfiy to sell his products online.

3. This client wants to set up a whatsapp business account via us.

4. His primary requirement is that the products that he sells on shopify should be visible on whatsapp catalogue as well

5. He will then run campaigns via us to a group of his customers and those customers should be able to view all his shopify products in whatsapp catalogue itself

6. Customers can then select any item from whatsapp catalogue and place an order including payment from whatsapp itself.

7. Please note that in the above scenario the product inventory is being managed by shopify and its data is getting synced with whatsapp catalogue.

Can you provide us some documentation which will help us setting the Shopify data + Whatsapp Catalogue integration for our client.

Hi Anurag,

The general process you'd follow here would be to build an app that acts as a middleware between Shopify and WhatsApp, that can communicate with the APIs of both platforms. Specific to Shopify you'd use the Admin API to fetch product data and order information, as well as insuring inventory is being updated correctly.
