Webhooks for Purchase Orders

Is there a way to listen to Purchase Order events via the Webhook system? This seems to be unsupported now (https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/2023-07/enums/WebhookSubscriptionTopic)

Hi Sergeich,

From looking into this there doesn't seem to be an easy way to listen for purchase order related events via a webhook, or our API. The closest I could find is the `suppliers_update` webhook but this is in our unstable API version, so it wouldn't be recommended to use in any production environment. I'll pass on this feedback however as a feature request to see if it can be exposed in future updates.

can i have more information about the "supplier update" webhook, i didnt suceed to find it in the list of webhooks?

I see a bunch of webhooks relating to Purchase Orders in the unstable API version; unfortunately none of them are in the latest 2024-1 release candidate. Is there a timeline for their incorporation in the stable API?

There is no guarantee that events or endpoints in the unstable version will be added into the stable version of the API - I will ask internally if these events are on the road map however.

Our team is also looking to incorporate Purchase Order creation events to Shopify Flow so we can autogenerate purchase orders in our accounting System (quickbooks). We cannot figure out a way to determine when a Purchase Order has been created in the Admin interface.

Still in the unstable version, couldn't seem to test it out even using the unstable version however as they make it difficult to even create the subscription to the webhook itself. Shopify needs to work on getting this out asap since it seems to be a very important feature for especially large businesses.
