I’m experiencing an issue with webhook subscriptions not being auto-deleted after multiple failed attempts, despite following Shopify’s guidelines.
Here’s what I’ve done:
- I configured AWS Lambda to return a 400 status code for every webhook response, which according to Shopify’s documentation should count as a failure.
- The webhook was first triggered on 2024-09-16 at 10:15:29 (UTC+05:45), and the last invocation was at 2024-09-16 14:17:34 (UTC+05:45).
- Even though the web-hook invocations stopped after 4 hours, the webhook subscriptions were not deleted as expected.
Shopify’s support team mentioned that web-hooks should be auto-deleted after a series of failed attempts, but this hasn’t happened in my case. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions on how to force it's deletion? Any insights would be appreciated!
