Are you able to sent quantity from a POD service like Printful?

IT would be extremely helpful if I was to artificially create scarcity (Sold out on certain variations) 

I can do this with Physical products I have but with the print on demand service Im unsure if there i a way to edit the quantity?

any insight would be appreciated.
