Connecting dropshipping API to existing shopify store

Hi,

I'm doing a project for a client that wants to link an dropshipping API to his Shopify store.

So for example, whenever an order is created on shopify an API call to the dropshipping website has to be made.

Was is the best way to aproach something like this?

I've checked for hooks, calls and more but couldn't find the answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is Eric at Leapp; we were looking at the same challenge. Nothing in the app store did the trick so in the end we hired a developer to have it custom-made for us. Have not found the native of app based solution yet where you can pre-configure those things with some mapping within feeds.

Eric @eschoenmakers we're considering the same method to ask an existing Shopify manufacture to supply our store with a dropship set of products. Instead of having them signup for a service and then us having to get a paid app and onboard that way, I'd like to just create an API between our two stores. Any advice you have for going the API route would be appreciated, thanks.
