Dropshipping funds

I know everyone's business is unique but I am just seeking general guidance. When dropshipping and being in Q4 how much in funds do you recommend having available to make sure that the product and shipping gets covered automatically without delay. I was thinking about 3 to 5 days of sales projections to cover this before the funds are being replaced through the sales. If anyone could give any feedback or suggestions I would appreciate it.
