Not looking for official legal advice. Just curious on how other merchants handle this.
I would like to scale my dropshipping store to europeon markets, however, I am concerned about GDPR and how it requires my privacy policy to be written.
After some digging around online, I see that some are advocating going to the extent of including Aliexpress, as well as the names of the suppliers, within the privacy policy. I see that the current Shopify template is also set up in a way that require this (if done truthfully).
I'm less concerned about customers reading the wordy privacy policy before purchase and more so concerned about potentially unmasking that information to advertising partners who are typically unfavorable towards dropshippers.
For those who sell in EU, do you include this info in your privacy policy? I was hoping to get away with refering to them as "our supplier", but I guess that's too little info.
Hi @stuck891
Privacy policy acceptance is important when selling to the EU.
