This is a great question and a really good idea to include in your online store!

Most Shopify themes have an option to allow you to enable sharing for your products. You can enable this by navigating to the Theme Editor and selecting on the product page. Once you are editing the product page - select the product page section to see the option to Enable product sharing. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

Do you use Dawn theme?

It seems Dawn Theme don't have this option.

Thanks for the quick response and clarification!

Since we cannot make the changes through the theme editor, you will need to make a change in coding to have this option available on the product pages of your online store. In this case, the Dawn theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to allow our internal team make the changes on your behalf.

If you are interested in using the design time, you will need to login to your store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before speaking directly with a Support Advisor about the changes you would like to see.

The DAWN theme has a share button available on the product pages. When clicking the share button, there will be an option to copy the link and then the user can share that link with anyone on any platform. If they're browsing the page on mobile, they can share the product page directly to any Social Media without copying the link.

To enable it, you just need to add a share block to the product page while customizing your theme.

Yes we see that share option but would like to embed the link to the different social media platforms so clicking on them would directly take them to that platform with the link of the product. How do we accomplish that?

If you are using a theme provided by Shopify, I suggest you use free design time for Shopify themes to have Shopify support assist you with that.
