In need of help with a 'Supplier OOS' Scenario

Hi Guys,

Thanks in advance for the help!  My business is roughly 60% Drop-ship, with the majority coming from 1 vendor.  This vendor was OK at keeping everything in-stock pre-covid, so I never had a real problem with OOS orders.  Lately, this vendor has been terrible at keeping their stock updated and it's embarrassing when I have to inform my customers an item is unavailable after they've ordered.   

I'm looking for advice on how handle a scenario where a customer orders a product, then after relaying the order to a vendor, we find out the product is out of stock.

This problem is everywhere due to the pandemic.  Did you search for alternate suppliers?  Please share your product. People may help you. We Help Shopify Dropshippers
