Items have same SKU and I can't find the SKU for the item on the drop ship site

I am drop shipping items from Spocket, and when I go to variants in my shop it states in the SKU area "Already used by 8 other items."  (The SKU just says "small" "medium" etc so obviously not very precise ) Some have imported with actually number SKUs but some are very generic.  It said that it should match their SKU on their site, but I can't find their SKU.  I don't want the wrong order to go to customers.  What do I do!?

Thanks. I did reach out to them, but they said that if that's their SKU to no change it.... I don't want to mess with the SKU in Shopify. They also stated that I should change everything I need too in Spocket and not shopify or else it will break the retailers connection (even descriptions, price etc) Is that true? I feel it's so much easier to do it in Shopify, I'm just confused now. I changed everything in Spocket now, but I like the easiness of just doing it from my shop
