You can check up with the Salehoo and the HKDTC. HKDTC is the short name of Hong Kong Trade and Development Council. It is a government body of HK and has a big database on manufacturers in China,  especially those Hong Kong businesses that have factories in China. I think you can get a lot of valuable info from them.

Once you find the possible suppliers, you may need to check about their background. You can try to hire a third party quality inspection company to conduct a factory audit. There are a few good companies that you can review such as SGS, Intertek, HKQCC etc.
