Setup for print on demand clothing store

Hi all,

I have created a store which will predominantly host made to order clothing, the products will be printed and shipped by another business, I am struggling to figure out the best way to push an order onto the printers once it comes through the site. I can see the 'Inventory managed by' option and can see a way to push the order through to fulfil but it sends an email to the customer saying the items has been dispatched.

I want to push the order through without notifying the customer as the orders will take a week to produce. Help please!
