SKU is not updating the inventory

Hi,

I imported the  CSV file of TOP best selling list from ChinaBrand to my products. After importation, all the stocks from that is set to 0. However in Chinabrand website the stocks are not the same. Why it's not updating by itself even if i got the same SKU and i set up "Shopify track this product inventory"? I'm missing something...

Any help will be really greatfull,

Okay i think i just missunderstood all the process being the scene. First, i tought a SKU was unique worldwide but its not. It is proper to each suppliers.
Then i tought if you set up "Shopify track this product inventory" Shopify will update the inventory no matter the supplier. But its also not. This function is only made to keep track of your own SKU. So the only way to update the inventory its with a third party APP like Oberlo. It will update the inventory via a web service between the supplier and the third party APP. 

Is i'm correct?
