Too Many Variants

I want to import a product from aliexpress.com into shopify. However, it says that it exceeds the 100 variant limit. How do I resolve this? I really want the product. It is this shoe product with different size and color options that have more than 100 combinations. However, I would be fine with importing it and just removing some of the color options. I just need a way to import it in the first place.

Hi

So your easiest way fo handling this from our year's fo experience is to split the products into colourways, i.e. brown, blue etc 

This also works better for the user experience if you add the colour as a filter to your collections.
