Hi,

I want to send 3 pairs of glasses to my customers to try out. I want to take their card information as security but not charge them anything.

Is it possible via shopify or an extension to capture a customer's payment details but not charge them anything unless they do not return the products to me?

Klarna might help you. It is a payment service company and you can set it up on Shopify as a alternate payment option, but you have to submit an application to Klarna befor integrating it to your store.  What they offer is Buy Now. Pay Later or Pay Overtime service. Your customer choose Klarna at checkout as a payment option and choose to pay later. Then you ship your products and let them try them. If they decide to keep them, they have to pay for them. If not, they can simply return the products without paying for the products. Check Klarna.com for more details and to know if it would work for your business model. Good luck.
