Wholesale boutique resell

So, I’ve been learning about boutiques, drop shipping, private labeling etc. If I setup my own online store, boutique  and buy from a wholesale store to resell someone else’s products, wouldn’t that put me in the position for someone to just buy something and then research that company and just buy directly from them? Cut the middle man out. Any tips on your online resell store?

Can the quality of there clothes be verified? It’s so tricking buying clothes online not knowing the quality, I do not see any reviews.
