Hello we currently sell via shopify platform however we are looking to also sell via 3rd part platform which requires a 12 digit scanable code can we generate this using barcode generator app or do we need to purchase individual 12 digit upc codes first?

Since Shopify can’t generate UPC codes, you need to purchase UPC codes from GS1 or through dedicated UPC code apps, which are often more affordable.
