Teaching a class to students on web development options. We all signed up for a 13 day trial on the same day. The next day Shopify demoted our class on the same network (different users) to 2 days. We had to wrap up and move to another program.
Has anyone else had this issue with multiple accounts on the same public IP?

Recently Shopify has been running experiments with different length trial periods, randomly distributed. The shorter trial periods should be able to sign up for their first month for $1 or something nominal, from what I understand.
If you want to have everyone on the same page, I would recommend becoming a Shopify Partner and then distributing Development Stores to everyone in your class, that way they get no time limit on the trial period.
Thank you for reaching out about this. Generally speaking, you should be able to create as many trial store accounts as you want on the same IP address without issue. Our standard trial period is 14 days, and each trial store created should offer that as an option unless you signed up under a promotional offer instead.
