I received an email from shopify today saying that due to chargebacks I have received, all sales transacted on my store will have a 15% hold for 120 days??
all of the chargebacks I have received are from scammers who do it to get free products and say they never received their item to their bank, if shopify would take the time to look at the tracking of the charge back orders they will see that they were all delivered and that we did the right thing. If they also looked further into it they would see that we have returning customers which I’m sure they wouldn’t come back if we were doing something wrong.
this is so unethical to do to a small business owner, I already lost out funds on the fraud chargeback orders and now I’m going to lose an extra 15% per order for 120 days??? This cannot be correct. I need this fixed ASAP please
