Hello everyone,

Hi there, @Brian383 ! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!
First, that’s a very impressive amount of traffic you having coming to your site! Congratulations on that! In situations like these, I often come across something that’s pretty telling as to ‘why’ folks aren’t placing orders - typically it’s because customers can’t successfully place their orders due to shipping settings not being set up as they should be. I took a moment to explore your store using test addresses from both Canada and the U.S, and shipping rates generated for me without issue - though Canada was surprisingly expensive! I even built a cart that was decently heavy, generating a free shipping option for the U.S address I tested, and more expensive rates for the Canadian addresses.
First, I want to recommend taking a look at this free blog on suggestions to improve your conversion rate. Considering how large your traffic is, actioning some of these suggestions should yield results! My second suggestion here would be to look at these abandoned carts left by these customers who didn’t place these orders. Do you notice anything about these orders? Do they all seem to contain the same product, or be from the same locations? Information like this could help inform you on if there’s a specific shipping setting for a region you need to look at, or if a specific products seems to be a common denominator for these abandoned carts - it could be that a specific product being added to these carts isn’t populating shipping rates as expected, and prevents orders from being placed.
I will check it out, hardly any empty carts
thanks for the tips
CRO is virtually zero…and I have tried paid ads, affiliate marketing,

how so?
Hi @Brian383 ![]()
This is Ellie from BOGOS (formally Free Gifts by Secomapp), # 1 Promotion App on Shopify.
Your store features really impressive products and receives many visits. However, from a customer’s perspective, I found some challenges.
1. Problem: Upon my initial visit, it was quite difficult to find items I wanted to buy because the collections are not clearly defined.
Solution: Under the Women’s collection, for instance, create sub-collections such as Tank Tops, Hoodies and so on. Customers will find products faster without being confused. Ensure these sub-collections are prominently displayed in the menu bar, similar to this example store.
2. Problem: I’m interested in your products but hesitant to buy because there are no visible sales promotions to encourage me to buy. Therefore, I tend to search for another store currently running a sale.
Solution: Combine promotions such as BOGO, Buy X Get Y, Discounts, Bundle, Tiered pricing, and gift with purchase offers with urgency-inducing elements like countdown timers to encourage immediate purchases.
To easily implement them, consider using the BOGOS app. As a top-rated promotion app, it excels at increasing average order value and converting visitors into customers, offering all these promotions in a single app.
Grab 7-day free trial of BOGOS (4.9 overall rating, 1,985+ reviews) to give it a try!
3. Problem: When making a purchase, customers will consider another important thing: how other buyers think about this product. Therefore, leaving no reviews on your product page isn’t a good choice.
Solution: Proactively collect reviews from your previous customers or create on your own. Remember to upload images of people using your products.
If my answer is helpful, I would appreciate it if you could give me a Like or accept it as a Solution! ![]()
Wish you all the best with the business,
Ellie
