2.0 Metafields (Product) - Reference/Page - "No pages available"

Created a product metafield (Settings → Metafields), “Reference” type with “Page” as the content-type. When I go to the product editing page to give a page for metafield it returns “No pages available”.

Hi @Grey_Stephenson

If No pages are available in a metafield definition make sure the pages you want to use are actually created.

If still not showing try making that page as published , aka visible, to your online storefront.

Baring that try hard reloading the product page

They are all visible and viewable on the live site.

Try hard reloading the page ctrl+F5 , or in chrome empty cache and hard reloading by opening chrome tools ctrl+shift+c then right click the refresh button to open the dev refresh context menu.

After that in private browsing, or another browser , or another device.

If that changes the result clear the cache in your original browser.

Then you may need to just wait for some cache issue to clear, probably especially if you just created all those pages(or someone else did remotely).

If that still shakes nothing out contact support https://help.shopify.com/en/questions/#/questions

If your a partner able to reproduce this on other stores file a bug https://help.shopify.com/questions/partners

Literally tried in a different browser on a different computer. NO luck. This is an identical issue as one posted about a month ago that was labeled a bug and said to have been fixed: https://community.shopify.com/c/online-store-2-0/issue-with-pages-not-showing-in-a-reference-metafield/td-p/1320337

Sanity check, are you creating these metafield defintions on a development store that does not have that content from the live site?

You’ll want to join that thread, and as a shopify partner go through the support page in the partner dashboard and file a bug report.
