I’ll detail our requirement out below in the hope that someone knows of an app [or Shopify solution] that can do what we need…
We have two stores that basically sell the same items [one is for members, who pay a little less for the items because they are members]. The bulk of the products we sell are T-shirts and Sweatshirts.
What we’d like to achieve is to have a single, central inventory of the constituent parts that make up the garments that we sell - namely:
Garment Type - T-shirt, Sweatshirt or Hoodie - this may expand but the basic will be this - & Garment Colour - i.e. Navy T-shirt, Grey Sweatshirt, Green Hoodie etc…
Garment Size - this can run from XS through to 5XL but in some colours this is limited and may be XS - 3XL
Print - we use a heat press to print our garments so we need to also keep track of the prints we have in stock
We want to be able to have products on each store that are comprised of these constituent parts. We want to have a single inventory that keeps track of remaining stock and is automatically updated by sales/returns/etc on both sites in real-time. Product pricing will be dealt with separately on each store.
We wondered whether Shopify Bundles could be used initially but couldn’t see any way of having a single inventory that both stores could utilise.
Anyone got any potential solutions to our requirement?
