Hi everyone!

Basically as the title shows: about 2 weeks in, 600+ sessions, no sales. My site is thegothichub.com. I really thought my site looked good and I’m advertising on Instagram, Tiktok, Lemon8, and Pinterest everyday. I feel like im missing the secret sauce. Any and all suggestions would be amazing.

Thank you!

Hey there!

I checked out your site, and I can see the care and passion you’ve poured into The Gothic Hub—it really shows. Your “About Us” page has a beautiful personal touch that helps visitors connect with your brand. That said, I think there are a few tweaks you can make to turn those sessions into sales.

  1. Product Bundles: You have a variety of products, which is fantastic, but offering curated bundles might help boost your conversion rate. For example, pairing a necklace with a matching ring or creating a themed outfit set could make shopping easier and more appealing for customers. People love feeling like they’re getting more value or a complete look in one go. If you’re open to apps, there are tools like iCart that can help you set up product bundles directly in your cart and make upselling seamless.

  2. Clear Call-to-Actions (CTAs): When I browsed your site, I felt like it needed stronger CTAs to guide users. Highlight what you want them to do—like “Shop the Collection,” “Complete Your Look,” or “Create Your Own Bundle.”

  3. Trust Signals: You mention on your About page how much care you put into your products, which is amazing! Consider showcasing this on your product pages with badges for “Handpicked Quality” or “Community-Loved Styles.” Reviews or testimonials can also make a big difference.

  4. Focus on Your Audience’s Interests: Since you’re marketing on Instagram, TikTok, Lemon8, and Pinterest, are you creating content that resonates with gothic style lovers? Behind-the-scenes clips, styling ideas, or even polls asking your audience what they want to see can boost engagement and build trust.

  5. Checkout Experience: Is your checkout process straightforward and optimized? Abandoned checkouts can often be reduced with features like free shipping thresholds or a progress bar showing how close they are to earning it.

I hope these ideas help! You’re doing an incredible job building a unique brand—sometimes it just takes a few tweaks to find that “secret sauce.” Good luck, and feel free to share updates.

Hello there @gutkfytf Let me start by saying I absolutely love the niche you’ve gone into and how you’ve tailored your store to suit it. It looks really good

My first suggestion would start with the featured products section. Displaying only products that are “sold out” there kind of gives the impression that all the good stuff might have already been taken at first glance so I’d suggest adding products that are still available on display there.

Secondly, since you are dealing with goth fashion in general a big factor that will help determine if your store would be successful is how appealing your products appear and for this reason, I recommend adding some short videos and GIFs into the product gallery.

Lastly, you can include a FAQs section to help frontrun questions that customers especially people visiting for the first time, are likely to have and provide them with meaningful and convincing answers.

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Hi @gutkfytf !

Kate here from the PageFly Shopify Landing Page Builder App. I’ve reviewed your website and have some suggestions that can help improve the user experience, boost engagement, and drive conversions. Let’s make The Gothic Hub stand out even more!

1. Header Resizing for Better Focus

The current header takes up a lot of space, making it harder for visitors to focus on other sections. Consider resizing it to ensure it’s compact yet effective. This will allow the hero banner and other sections to capture attention right away.

2. Hero Banner Optimization

Your hero banner is the first thing visitors see, so it needs to deliver impact! Here’s how to improve it:

  • Highlight Your Products: Use bold visuals and concise text to clearly communicate the unique Gothic products you offer.
  • Resize for Single-Screen Display: Ensure the hero section fits entirely within the first fold of the screen for a cleaner and more engaging layout.
  • CTA Button Enhancement: Make the Call-to-Action (CTA) stand out with contrasting colors, larger size, and hover effects. A clear message like “Shop Now” or “Explore Gothic Styles” can encourage clicks.

You can check this image for reference:

3. Add More Visual Appeal- Model Imagery: Incorporate images of models wearing or using your products. This will help visitors visualize themselves using the items.

  • Promotion Section: Add a dedicated promotion section featuring exclusive deals like “Limited-Time Offers” or “New Arrivals.” Use bold text and striking visuals to grab attention.

4. Newsletter Section Redesign

The current newsletter section could use a boost to make it more engaging:

  • Offer Incentives: Encourage sign-ups with a perk like “Get 10% Off Your First Order” or “Be the First to Know About New Collections.”
  • Visual Enhancements: Add an enticing background graphic, product imagery, or icons to make the section more appealing.

Final Touches- Gather Feedback: Reach out to friends, family, or your target audience for honest feedback on your website’s new look.

  • Social Proof: Add customer reviews or testimonials to build trust and encourage purchases.

By implementing these changes, you’ll enhance the shopping experience, captivate your audience, and boost conversions. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to help!
