Im running adds for 2 days now, got like 2000 visitors but 0 add to card, 0 sales. my page is https://goldspire.co.uk/ It have to be some kind of problem with the home page or product pages , because its wierd to have such trafic and completely 0 sales.
With 2,000 visitors but no add-to-cart actions or sales, it’s likely there’s something on your homepage or product pages that’s turning people away—maybe unclear messaging, missing trust signals, or issues with navigation. Taking a fresh look at these pages or even asking friends to test them could help spot any potential issues quickly.
All of your products are showing as Sold Out. Make sure you update your inventory quantities, or set “continue selling while out of stock” on those products.
If you’re looking to sell them as back-orders or pre-orders, I’d be happy to help out there too, but otherwise just check your stock levels in Shopify.
Sold out? what country are you from? maybe i need to check the delivery options, because for me in UK it shows all items are in stock
Hi @Ovidijus ,
Thank you for your question. Seeing 2000 visitors but 0 add-to-carts is frustrating.
Here are some of my recommendations that you can consider following to improve conversions:
Optimize Your Homepage:
- Clear Navigation: Separate your Categories into Sub-categories so visitors can see types of products on the Home page.
- Strong Call to Action: Add or adjust several Shop Now buttons to make them look outstanding.
Enhance Product Page Appeal:
- High-Quality Photos: Showcase the jewelry with professional photos from multiple angles and close-ups to highlight details on a contrasting background.
- Compelling Description: Craft a clear and detailed description that emphasizes the features, benefits, and materials.
Build Trust and Confidence:
- Customer Reviews: Add a star rating review widget to your products. Social proof helps build trust.
- Return/Refund Policy: Clearly outline your return/refund policy for buyer peace of mind.
- Payment Methods: Add payment badges under the Buy button on your product pages.
Finally, you should do some tests on your pages, navigation and payment to see if everything works smoothly. I hope my answer is helpful!
Best,
Liz.
I added all countrys to my delivery method, so please try to check now if the items are available now.
I’m in Australia, that might be why. But this is before I select any shipping address or anything, just looking at the site initially. Some other things to check include:
- Social Proof (add reviews or show user content to build trust)
- Pricing (check your pricing competitively)
- Out of Stock (is your traffic all UK based? Double check they’re not international as well, and seeing the out of stock notice I was)
- Product details (is there enough info/images for people to make the decision to buy)
- Shipping costs (do they get to checkout and bounce due to high shipping costs or no delivery options in their area?)
I wrote some more in depth info here about these if you think this might be relevant.

Congrats on your store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.
1. Add a Favicon Image
Adding a favicon image will make your website recognizable among open tabs, enhancing brand awareness and giving your store a more polished look.
2. Include a Hero Section
A hero section is essential for grabbing customers’ attention upon arrival. This section should be visually appealing and clearly convey what your store offers, encouraging visitors to explore further. Currently, without a hero section, users may not know what you’re selling and could leave quickly.
You can follow this example:
3. Adjust Product Collection Layout
Consider reorganizing the product collection section so that each category is evenly represented. Currently, the bracelets and necklaces categories dominate, making it hard for customers to focus on other product lines.
You can change to this layout:
4. Create an “About Us” Page
An “About Us” page builds an emotional connection by introducing your store’s story. This helps customers trust you and encourages them to make purchases. Linking to this page, rather than always directing to product pages, provides a balanced browsing experience.
This is the section I mention:
5. Ensure Font Consistency
To create a cohesive look, use a consistent font style and size across the website. Define fonts for headings, body text, and other elements to enhance readability and professionalism.
6. Add a Reviews/Testimonials Section
Featuring a section with customer reviews or testimonials can build trust and encourage new visitors to make purchases by showcasing positive feedback.
7. Add a Sales and Promotions Section
Featuring a dedicated section on the homepage for sales and promotions can increase visibility and encourage customers to take advantage of current offers.
8. Revamp the Footer
The footer should include navigation links to important pages on your site for ease of browsing, as well as contact information to reinforce your legitimacy.
Here is an example for you:
9. Remove the Catalog Section from the Homepage
Since the homepage should offer a general overview, consider removing the catalog section and guiding customers to product details through a clear navigation structure.
10. Resolve “Sold Out” Product Listings
Ensure all products displaying “Sold Out” are up to date. This can discourage potential buyers, so a quick check to update stock status is essential.
11. Maintain Consistent Product Page Formatting
Use a single, consistent format across product pages to convey a professional image and help customers feel confident while browsing.
12. Add a Product Image Slider
Incorporating an image slider on product pages will make it easier for customers to view all images without excessive scrolling.
13. Include a FAQ, Contact Us Page, and Communication Widget
Adding these pages and a widget for customer support will improve customer experience by addressing questions, providing contact options, and building trust.

Hello @Ovidijus in terms of what I see on the store, my first suggestion would be to reduce the number of sold out products appearing on the homepage especially at the initial point of scrolling because it could give off a message to customers that “all the good stuff is already out of stock” or something like that
Also, have you tried placing a test order recently to ensure that the checkout process is in order? There could be an issue with the add to cart and checkout process so it’s good to check just to be safe
Lastly, it would be nice to have atleast 2/3 well written customer testimonials on the homepage to make your store appear more certified.
Hi @Ovidijus
You’re absolutely right—having 2,000 visitors and no add-to-cart actions or sales indicates there’s likely a major issue with how your site is set up, how your products are presented, or the traffic source itself. Here’s a breakdown of what could be wrong and how to fix it:
1. Check Your Traffic Source
First, ensure your ads are targeting the right audience. Misaligned targeting can bring visitors who have no interest in buying.
- Are you targeting buyers? Ensure your ads are focusing on people likely to purchase, not just click (e.g., use purchase conversion campaigns on Meta or Google).
- Is your ad copy clear? Your ads should match your product offering. For example, if you’re advertising luxury jewelry but the landing page shows budget items, it creates confusion.
- Use Google Analytics or Shopify reports to see demographics, bounce rates, and time spent on your site. If visitors are leaving in seconds, they’re not engaging.
2. Analyze the Landing Page (Homepage or Product Page)
Your site’s first impression could be the issue. Based on your URL, here are key areas to address:
Homepage Issues to Check:- Design clarity: Is your homepage visually appealing and easy to navigate? Avoid clutter and focus on high-quality images and a strong headline that communicates value.
- Call to Action (CTA): Is your CTA visible? For example, buttons like “Shop Now” or “Explore Collection” should stand out.
- Trust-building elements: Display trust badges, customer reviews, shipping information, and return policies upfront.
Product Page Issues to Check:- Product images: Are they high-quality and zoomable? Clear visuals sell better.
- Descriptions: Are they detailed? Include benefits, specifications, and how your product solves a problem.
- Pricing clarity: Is your pricing clear and competitive? Hidden fees or unclear pricing can drive people away.
- Add-to-cart button: Is it prominent? Make sure it’s easily noticeable and stands out from the page’s color scheme.
- Trust signals: Highlight secure checkout, guarantees, and social proof.
3. Test Site Performance- Loading speed: A slow site drives visitors away. Test your speed with Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Mobile optimization: Most visitors use mobile. Is your site responsive and easy to use on smaller screens?
4. Social Proof and Credibility
Lack of trust can kill conversions. Add these:
- Customer testimonials or reviews.
- High-quality product videos showing the item in use.
- Clear “About Us” and contact information.
5. Heatmaps and Session Recordings
Use tools like Hotjar or Lucky Orange to see where visitors click and where they drop off. It’ll give you insights into what’s confusing or unappealing on your site.
Example: Improve Product Page Design
Here’s a simple mockup of what a good product page might look like:
Code Example for Add-to-Cart Button Styling (CSS):
.add-to-cart-btn {
background-color: #FFD700; /* Gold color for luxury feel */
color: #000;
font-size: 18px;
padding: 10px 20px;
border-radius: 5px;
border: none;
cursor: pointer;
transition: background-color 0.3s ease;
}
.add-to-cart-btn:hover {
background-color: #FFC700;
}

6. Adjust Based on Metrics
If none of this works, experiment with:
- Different ad creatives and audiences.
- Offering a limited-time discount or free shipping to entice first-time buyers.
If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to help.
Best regards,
Daisy
