Last year I spent about a month to get approved by 2Checkout. However, it worked fine not for a long time.
When trying to palce an Order, the check-out page shows two ways of payment - Credit card and PayPal.
When a customer tries to use Credit card method he gets error messages under the Credit card number and Name on card boxes and therefore he cannot proceed. He is forced to use PayPal method which is not always acceptable. I was applying for 2Checkout with the hope that my cusomers will be able to choose their preferred method.
2Checkout Support is awful - they do not support at all and keep repeating the same things which do not solve the issue.
They claim that since some time they are using PayPal as their payment method. Does it mean that Credid cards are not allowed any more?
Who else is using 2Checkout - do you have the same issues? Or may be I should make some configuration to 2Checkout that would allow Credit cards payments? As I said, their Support doesn’t help so may be someone encountered and solved such an issue here?
Yes, I am facing the same problem. I went through the whole procedure to get approved by 2checkout and when I tried to place the order to test, it didn’t accept my Mastercard without PayPal. PayPal isn’t available in my country and I really wanted my customers to have all the options. I don’t really have any other payment method. Did you find any solution to this issue? If so, please let me know too, I have been working too long to set up my store and I don’t want to give up now.

Hi, LetItArt07. I found temporary solution. I don’t know which country are you from. I am from Ukraine. I connected Ukrainian payment gateway called Fondy and use it.
Still, I would like to have 2CheckOut too since I spent about a month to get approved and don’t want to lose this option. Besides, 2CheckOut is considered to be one of the best payment gateways (why? I wonder) and having it as a payment option makes your store more reliable.
So, answering your question - I didn’t solve this issue with 2CheckOut, but still hope to. May be there are similar options in your country available as I found in Ukraine.
