we have 3 types of customers, 1 is wholesale, 1 is retail and the third is teachers.
Wholesale customers have a log in to our website as they have an account and when they click on ‘Shop’ they see only the items which is allocated to our wholesale customers and prices.
Teachers have a log in to our website as they have an account and when they click on ‘Shop’ they only see items which is specifically for teachers.
Retail customers do not need to log in and when they click on ‘Shop’ they see only the items we sell retail at retail price.
How can we set up our shopify account to accommodate all 3 types of customers?
It is possible. All you have to do is create a Shopify account for your shop and link your domain there.
The next step would be to install a wholesale app like Wholesale Pricing Discount that offers you this functionality to create a retail and wholesale experience for your customers.
Using this app, you can set up and display different discounts and prices for your 3 different customer types. You can also set individual product variant pricing and offer volume and tiered-based pricing with the Net payment terms options for your wholesale customers.
