3 things about shopify and dropshippping

Hi there,

I have 3 basic questions about dropshipping.

Dropshipping would be locally, with local craftsmen.

  • Is it possible to create credit notes in Shopify?
  • Is it possible to automatically re-order at your own supplier? And make an automatic payment to this supplier?
  • All data such as invoices, product data, customer data etc. can be exported to Excel?

Rio here from the Shopify Community Team. I’m happy to provide some answers for you here.

  1. Could you clarify what you’re referring to in regard to credit notes within Shopify?

  2. For automatic re-orders, are you wanting to re-order products when they hit a specific inventory level? When you’re dropshipping you won’t be ordering inventory, as you will only order inventory when the order is placed by a customer. So if you could also clarify your use case here I’m happy to help.

  3. All of that data can be exported to a CSV file which can be opened in Excel.
