301 redirect links are not redirecting.

Hello,

The redirect I made from the navigation section does not work.

Here is the link of my website:
https://www.thekingdecor.com/collections/hermes-ashtrays

But the same link opens like this:
https://www.thekingdecor.com/collections/hermès-ashtrays

There is a problem with the letter “è” and “e”. I typed “hermes” when specifying my URL on the collection page. But the system automatically opens it as “hermès”. In Google Search Console, I fall into a duplicate link situation.

How can I remove “hermès”?

You need to go to your Online Store > Navigation settings to check your redirects. Is there any redirect as such setup?

I’m not sure if Shopify has approximate matching for such URLs that it automatically redirects. You could test this by creating something else similar to see if you can replicate it.
