Is it possible to ship using a 3rd party account for rates with real time pricing?
@Sheldonjs Yes, absolutely - you can connect your own carrier account to display your negotiated rates at checkout in real-time.
Supported carriers within Shopify for your own account:

How to connect:

Go to Settings > Shipping and delivery

Scroll to Carrier accounts and click Connect account

Select your carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and follow the prompts to link your account
Once connected, checkout will pull live rates from your carrier based on your negotiated pricing. For UPS, if you have negotiated rates, it can take up to 3 business days for those discounted rates to start showing.
Bonus: If you’re in the US and connect your UPS or FedEx account, you can also purchase shipping labels directly in Shopify using your own rates.
