We have been having an SSL issue for about 2 weeks now, and it still not solved yet. We have been in touch with Shopify Support since 25 dec 2024, but its unfortunately not helping. Im curious if we’re the only one running into this issue.
Our issue: We have been using the non-www version of the domain as primary domain since years. This worked fine up until recently. Now the www domain works fine, but the non-www domain is getting a 403 Forbidden error cloudflare notification. So zomersbloemen.nl does not work, but www.zomersbloemen.nl works fine. This happened all of a sudden on xmas, without performing any changes on our end. Shopify Support leads us to check DNS settings, which were not changed. We have confirmed and sent screenshots. And told to wait 48hrs. 48hrs later, still same error. Up until now, still the same error. And still the same feedback “we have manually reinstated the SSL, please wait up to 48hrs.”
Is there anyone who knows how to solve this? is there something else we can do in order to get our website back online without the www? Or maybe a workaround to redirect the non-www to the www? We’re really desperate for a solution. Many thanks!
