not sure what’s going on, this has been happening for sometime now
tried using operaGX, Microsoft Edge
anytime I got to make a new collection or select anything in myside bar I get a 500 error

Have you tried on Chrome yet?
But I think it is more likely a temporary issue from Shopify. You can wait and try later. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Well, I would like to inform you that this is actually a temporary glitch or a general server problem. You can consider the following suggestions to resolve the issue:
- Clear cookies and cache files from the browser and device
- Try logging in using another web browser
- Use incognito mode or a private browsing window to log into the Shopify store
- Use another device to access your store
- Consider changing your Internet Service Provider

As of today we haven’t received any reports of merchants experiencing 500 error messages when clicking Products > Collections > Create collection from the Shopify admin.
I understand you’ve tried using OperaGX and Microsoft Edge. As per our Supported Browsers resource, have you tried using Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari? Could you also advise if this issue happens when using the Shopify Mobile app or if it occurs on other devices?
In the meantime, could you try clearing your cache and cookies or launching your Shopify admin in an incognito window to see if the issue persists?
