I have a cart-checkout-validation function in the Shopify Store. It’s enabled in the checkout settings and the “Allow all customers to complete checkout” option is unchecked. The extension works as expected, I’m not able to add any product to cart which fails the validation. But some people manage to bypass this validation and I receive the following error: “A checkout rule failed to run. “rule name” by “dev” did not run. Review all information before fulfilling this order or capturing payment. To avoid future issues, notify your developer.” I’m the developer and I can’t see any logs in the partners dashboard. I’ve contacted Shopify Support a few times already and this discussion has been held for 1+ year but it’s still not fixed. They say it’s a “Platform Error” which is very rare to happen, but we always receive this kind of orders with these errors. Has anyone encountered this issue before? As I couldn’t find any post/article/question about this.
