Abandoned Carts - best app to send offers?

I currently have 35 abandoned carts on my site. Is there an app, or what is the best app, for sending offers to these people? Ideally I want to be able to select all 35 carts and email the people a limited time offer e.g. “buy everything in your cart with a 10% discount”. Also there needs to be the option to time limit the offer e.g. within one week of the offer being sent.

Is there an app that does is? Or if there are several, which is the best one?

Thanks!

Shopify Email already has templates you can customize for this. It’s now called Shopify Messaging.

Klaviyo is probably your best bet for this. You can set up automated flows that trigger X hours after abandonment, include their cart contents, and apply a unique discount code with an expiration date. The targeting is really flexible too.

Omnisend is a solid alternative if Klaviyo feels like overkill for your volume.

Shopify’s built-in abandoned checkout emails work in a pinch but don’t have the discount code automation you’re looking for.

Hope this helps.

Klaviyo and Omnisend are the best all-around apps.

Klaviyo is the more popular choice, known for its powerful automation flows, smart targeting, and ability to send discounts automatically.

Omnisend, on the other hand, is easier to set up and very beginner-friendly, with both email and SMS included out of the box.

You can do this with any abandoned-cart email tool, but if u want something that also pushes people back into the site with an offer, Adoric is a nice option.

It lets you:

• Send targeted offers to abandoned cart users
• Create a time-limited incentive (like 10% off if they return within 7 days)
• Trigger a popup the moment they come back, so the offer is impossible to miss
• Sync the discount automatically with whatever’s already in their cart

The popup part is actually what helps most, because a lot of abandoned-cart users open emails but don’t finish the purchase unless the offer is shown clearly when they return.

Worth giving it a try to recover those 35 carts.

With our app, you can target Abandoned Cart but not via email, can you give them a special incentive to checkout when they return back to your store after a set amount of time which you choose.

You can also target them and show an incentive before they leave the website with exit-intent.

There really is multiple ways to get that conversion.

Hey @Robert_Smith_UK

This is Muhammed from the Growth Suite.

The simplest setup for abandoned checkout flow is using Shopify’s own FLOW app. It’s free and works perfectly. I recorded a video that showing the setup. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhpfKH7trBw

However there are a HUGE GAP between abandoned cart and abandoned checkout.

You can only send recovery emails to people who enter their email address in checkout and leave the store without buying. But as you can see in your Analytics reports this is only tiny part of the funnel. The real leak is happening visitors who click on add to cart but leave store without starting checkout!

I have been working on this problem for 5 years. The real reason behind the “add to cart” and lave is “I’ll buy it later” mindset. “Pleasure buying” is a different shopping mindset and people are using add to cart button when they like a product. But since they have no reason to complete their order right away, they leave it without starting checkout.

What Growth Suite does is a little different from most of the approach. It analyzes visitors behavior and make the visitors time limited discount offers when they are most interested in your products.

Don’t get it wrong. It’s a REAL timer, it creates a real, one-time limited discount count and apply for the cart… Just gives a reason to buy from your store right now, instead of postponing…

If customers act like a dedicated buyer, they can’t get any offer. Also when a visitor gets an offer, the same visitor can’t get another offer next 7 days. It’s like an offline sales assistant making an offer only for you.

You can use Shopify email or Klaviyo and set up an abandoned carts flow to do that.
