Abandoned carts not reporting correctly. 0 abandoned carts so far.

I personally had some abandoned carts on the dawn them plus I’m sure there were more but it’s not showing up and I can’t understand why. Anyone know why? There is no 1 single abandoned cart showing and I use 1 page checkout.

One common reason for this, especially with a one-page checkout, is that Shopify only tracks abandoned checkouts when the customer enters their email address during the checkout process.

If customers drop off before providing that info, then no record is created. Also, one-page checkout can sometimes streamline the process so much that abandoned sessions aren’t captured as readily.

I’d suggest checking your settings under Checkout in the Shopify admin to make sure the abandoned checkout feature is enabled. If everything there looks good, it might just be that your one-page checkout setup naturally results in fewer tracked abandoned carts because customers are closing the page before entering an email.

Are customers reaching the checkout page? Shopify only records abandoned checkouts if a user enters their email or phone at checkout. If they leave before that, it won’t count.

Check Shopify Analytics: Go to Analytics > Reports > Conversion Funnel to see if users drop off before checkout.

A quick test: Add a product to the cart, go to checkout, enter an email, and leave the page. Wait 1-2 hours to see if it records
