it seems that our shopify admin is not logging carts and checkouts properly. We’ve been testing this with friends who we asked to add stuff to their basket, proceed to checkout, type in their details and stop just before clicking the pay button.
Is there anything that we can do about it? We were never able to see abandoned carts (why does shopify not have such a function!?), but at least we’d see abandoned checkouts. We haven’t seen abandoned checkouts for over a week now and usually there are several each day.
This sounds strange; which checkout are you using, the 3-page checkout or the 1-page checkout? it does not have to be the reason, I remember some complaining then that the 1 page has had affects for them.
I would like to share our app, which gives you live insights in to your customers, carts, showing you what is being added or removed, and also give you the option to convert the cart to a draft order, show a widget with a unique id on the cart page for the customer to share if they need help with their order.
