Abandoned checkout list not getting populated

Even if customer is going to checkout page, Entries on abandoned check outs are populating only when all the data was filled by the customer.

Even if customer has entered email id(one POC) it should get visible in abandoned check out list.

Even after many Tickets raised issues is still pertaining.

We are planning on switching from shopify platform just because of this.

As we cant get the data for sales recovery.

It’s important to note that abandoned checkouts are only created when a customer has added items to their cart and entered their email address, but then fails to complete the checkout process. If a customer has only entered their email address but has not added items to their cart, there will be no abandoned checkout created.

I Have at least 4- 5 times.
But for your team it seems it’s not important.
Your representatives tried multiple entries and they themselves
confirmed over calls that it is not showing in the abandoned cart.
You can check the call records.
Then you guys close the ticket saying there is no issue.
Amazing way of handling technical errors. , commendable.
Close the ticket without rectifying the error and claim there is no issue.
