Ability to ship from two different locations?

I have two physical shop locations: one in Kentucky and now one in Florida. I have set up both locations correctly. I am going to be shipping items from both locations, but my shipping labels all say the return address is Kentucky (when sometimes it will be Florida). Is there a way to choose which of my two locations becomes the return address when shipping orders out?

Otherwise when I ship something from Florida to New York, UPS is charing me rates as Kentucky to New York bc it’s not recognizing Florida as a location (even though it’s set up)…and if someone returns something it will get returned to Kentucky versus Florida where it actually came from…?

Hi, @TheHatGirls

Thanks for posting to the forums. I hope you’re well!

The return label will automatically populate the location that the order was shipped from as listed in the fulfillment location. However, you should have the ability to edit that location if it’s incorrect!

To edit the return address:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.

  2. Select the order number.

  3. Select Return items.

  4. Enter the quantity of items in the order that are being returned.

  5. In the Return shipping options section, select Create return label in Shopify.

  6. In the RETURN TO section, select Edit address. Verify that the returns address is the address where you want to return your order to. If it is incorrect change it as necessary.

If your products are stored at multiple locations in Shopify, you will generally have a default fulfillment location that will be pre-selected. If an order comes in where you want to fulfill from another location, you can simply select the location listed in the order in the top right hand corner, and click on the fulfillment location you wish to ship from. This will then display the new rates.

In the meantime, I’d love to learn more about your business. If you can provide your domain when you have time I can take a look and see what additional feedback I can provide!
