About Size Chart for different product

Hello

How can I turn off size guide

product A variation about size, it has size guide. OK

product B variation about color, don’t need size guide. But when I create variation, it automatic has size guide. How can I turn it off

Please help!

You need to add taga or metafields for the products. Then modify the relate code to implement it.

If you are using Shopify 2.0 OS theme, you can create separate product templates for each type of product so you can add a size guide block for product type A and not for product type B. You can learn more about creating a new template by following this instruction

I already created 2 template, but in my theme, only 1 option Turn on or Turn off size chart for all the theme. It’s Shopify 2.0 OS theme

Could you share product URL, one for product A and one for product B?

you can create a different template for different product
For e.g create a separate template for mobile cases and separate for belts with this way you can disable the size chart on mobiles and enable on belts.

How to create a template.

Go to Online store--------------> Themes ----------------->Customize----------> follow these steps bellow:-

Next, you’ll need to assign Template to product:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store ----> Products

2. Search for the product you want to change.

3. In the right-hand side section, at the very bottom use the dropdown menu to select a new theme template to apply to the selected product page.

4. Click Save.

Final step :- Online store--------------> Themes ----------------->Customize----------> follow these steps bellow:-

Select the new Template and disable the size, Gude

Thank you very much about your detail instruction

Yes I already created another template for “belt”

But I think the point here is the setting for size chart is fixed for the theme setting. That’s mean I only can turn on or turn off for the whole theme, can’t turn on or off for separate template
