We have a shopify store and are currently using shopify payments. The store is setup with the UK as the location, however we are going to be opening a popup for 2 weeks in the isle of man.
For normal popups we do in the UK we have a full POS setup using an Ipad and the WisePad 3 card terminal - however we have now been told when we go to the isle of man we will not be able to accept payments using the WisePad 3 with our Shopify Payments account.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do to enable us to take payments at the Isle of Man popup? I have been told by support we need to use a third party gateway but not sure how this would work if anyone has experience with this?
Ideally we would want to still use Shopify POS and have a way to use the wisepad 3 terminals (or another terminal we can link to shopify) to prepopulate the amount to charge - rather then having to ‘mark as paid’ and then manually type out the amount to enter on a third party pos machine to take the payments.
Any advice would be very much appreciated!
