has anyone installed the accessory circle app just trying to see if it is legit

If this app is part of our Shopify App Store then it does need to go through rigorous verification before being approved.

I am also wondering if this is a legitimate app as well. I received an email about joining their marketplace. I looked through the app store but was unable to find an app with the name Accessory Circle. Do you have any insight into this app or email that shopify customers are receiving?

I took a look through the store link provided and wasn’t able to find any publicly listed apps related to this service. I can’t be sure if they have a public app in the app store at this time, but I tried searching using the names and services mentioned on their website and email.
Their website doesn’t provide any instructions on how to join this marketplace and the “plans” they offer to sell through them don’t match the offer in the email. I would definitely approach with caution until you can confirm if this app is publicly available in the Shopify app store.
We generally dissuade partners from cold emailing and they should only be emailing or connecting with merchants who have previously agreed to do so. If you have the email address used to send this email to you I would recommend placing a report for this through our AUP page for partners so that our team can review and ensure that this partner is upholding our standards: Report a Partner Violation - Shopify.
Alternatively, if you are willing to connect with this partner to receive a link to their app, I’d be happy to dig a bit deeper!

I too have gotten similar Ask by them…my shopify store is portapocket.com
I checked their website and seems nice though am leery of integrating with the steps they outline in their attachment. there’s no easy App that’s pre-built to use..they ask us potential partners to create an App called “W-E B___” (with some other letters after that which for some reason I can’t even include in this post)
.. oops. can’t attach pdf nor png and when I tried to include info from their directions I get an error message from you guys at shopify stating: “The message body contains (that same apparently restricted name), which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post..”"
So is that the bottom line?.. no “web___” apps are allowed on shopify? And therefore working with this entity is not possible? or does the message insinuate that no “web___” info can be included in this chat area. I guess I’m confused… please advise
