Account Billing and Switching to a new store

i’m not sure if i put this question in the right place. here’s the background of the issue.

I came to the end of a year and was forced to pay for another. i wanted to close that store. never had any sales. www.alifemostbizarre.com. so I paid, then closed the store. even though it paid for a year in advance.

then I decided to try to just change it so I reopened it. i looked for ways to change the web address name, and I couldn’t find a way. but it did give me an option to close this one and open a new one. i thought since it was linking with the old one, I figured the payment would transfer too. now I’m on a 14 day trial for the new site, and have the old site still paid for a year, and another $400 bill for he new one. is there anything I can do to have the charged brought to the new page and the old page closed permanently?

then new site will be shirubiaelements.ca

As we checked your new domain is not connected with any website. Is this right?

yes thats right, shopify won’t let me link it, saying I have to upgrade my plan

Then we need to check your store settings to let you know why you are facing the issue

it let me dio it now, but it seems to not work, yet

ok what do i need to do?

i got the redirects to work, but shopify is still verifying them. so, about switching my accounts, do I really need to pay again? can I have the payment moved to the new shop?
