It now has been three days since my account has been terminated for no apparent reason. I was excited to try Shopify for the first time and spent many hours setting it up, also paying for two domains. My account was all of a sudden terminated and I was not able to login, all I get is an email saying I need to fill out a form to appeal the decision. The form took several tries and hours of work to figure out what format to send sensitive information. The email is almost like a phishing email, took me more time to make sure that it wasn’t a scam. The whole thing seems like a scam! Here I am trying to start a business, and like a switch, get turned off while looking at all these aggressive ads everywhere spamming me! I’m getting ready to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising! Buyer beware! Your business could be shut down in an instant with your income and reputation on the line! Do not use domain service with them! I announced my domain and now it’s at risk for being taken! I can’t even file a domain with another company now! is that illegal? This is so stressful! Very poor customer service!
