We have recently migrated from WooCommerce to Shopify and on the day of launching we had a red banner in our Shopify Admin to advise us payments were on hold until we provided ID and proof of business. For one reason or another, we did not submit those documents immediately and on day 5 our account was deactivated. We received an email which explained the reason why along with an appeal form.
We completed the appeal form immediately, providing ID, proof of company registration, proof of inventory along with our social media accounts.
We are now on day 8 after submitting this appeal form, yet we still have not heard from Shopify.
This is having a severe impact on the business, it’s a SME that employees 10 and the site is their only avenue of selling their product.
Each day we contact Shopify support and it seems we get the same scripted response, which is 1. We can see you have submitted the appeal form and 2. We will email the team that are looking into
