Accounts are disabled is still forcing customers to login before checking products

Subject is basically everything. No matter what I do setting the accounts to disabled still directs to a login or create account page.

Hi,** @chrischin808 **.

To confirm, the login and create account page occurs when customers are attempting to checkout, correct?

If this is the case, does the issue persist if you tick the Accounts are optional selection instead? I’ve included an image below for reference.

If you haven’t already, I also recommend clearing your browser’s cookies and cache, or by accessing your store through a different web browser altogether, or a completely different device. You can also try accessing your store via incognito or private windows to rule out any browser issues.

If all of those still don’t work, our live support team can be contacted to help look into your account from our end. We aren’t able to do this via the Community Forums at this stage, but you can reach out to our support team via our help centre here. Once you’ve logged in to your store on our help centre, type in your question or the topic you need help with. After that, you should see the Get Support heading at the very bottom of the page, and you can click Continue to start a support request. From there, our live support team can assist further.

I did that step, unfortunately one of the apps I installed is forcing it even though its been deleted

Ah I see, sounds like the app has left some residual code on your store’s theme coding. Is it a third-party app that you’re using, or a Shopify-made app?

With third-party apps, they usually have a guide page on their website that goes through how you can remove their coding after you uninstall their app. If you can’t find this information, you can reach out to the app’s support team so that they can perhaps look into helping you remove the code.
