Active product not showing in online store

I’ve try that and still no resolution

I am having the same issue and have checked all of these issues, included making sy=ure that they are included in the market under settings. Please help!

This did not work she me either.

Ty! This worked for me! For some reason, when it imported, all the new products defaulted to “point of sale,” and I don’t do in-person sales. Once I manually switched everything to “online store,” it worked perfectly!

I had this issue for MONTHS and watched troubleshooting videos countless times, but my problem was still occurring. The Shopify tech team looked into my case and found that the integrated app “Boost AI Search and Discovery” was preventing certain products from appearing on my store. I uninstalled this app and it solved all of my issues! Just wanted to put this out there for anyone who followed all of these steps and are still having issues-- it may be one of the apps acting up!

yooooo thank you so much, exactly what i needed to do, much love

Change your product sale channel from “point of sale” to “online store” and this should fix the problem!

Products won’t show visible if the channel is not also active for online store. When you check you will see that the POS is the only one chosen. Just include the online store and everything will be fixed.

You most likely fixed this issue now, but only added my solution to same issue since I tried everything on here, and already had all the settings for online store correct and tags/category right. In the end, after doing a test of duplicating a product that wasn’t showing, and seeing that one show but one other product disappeared, I remembered noticing in the Theme settings once you click on the product section area, you access the sortable product section to alter listings of TAGS (what the products will be listed under in sub navigation), products displayed per row, then under this there is a section of product limit, which mine had defaulted to 10, once I increased this amount all my products showed as they should. Hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face:

Great, they seemed to be included, but they weren’t’! Thanks for tip!

None of these solutions worked for me, however I finally decided to remove all these skus from my ‘new’ category, and that solved the issue.

i am having this issue now: I am very frustrated i wish there was an 800 number to call. All my items were showing on my store and suddenly I realize and dobt know for how long that now the last 5 on one of my collections are not displaying and they were before. I need this fixed immediately. Please help asap. They are my beach towels. I was about to add another 5 and noticed this issue. for exampe, Rainbow Haze is one of the towels not showing on collection product page, but its there if you type in the link: https://beachedbumlife.com/products/rainbow-haze-towel
but i need them to all show why is this happening? Nothings been changed so not sure why suddenly it was fine beofe

If Hide from XML Sitemap is set to 1, then the product won’t appear in search.

I was having the same issue. Everything was fine one day, than the next day 6 out of 8 products were missing from one of my product ‘collections’ on my store. Even though those items were set up the exact same way as the ones that were showing on the store page! I tried all of the above suggestions and nothing worked. Then I stumbled upon a fix. Under the admin page > content > menus > menu items (click on the menu where the missing items should be under on your store, i.e “Skin Care Products”) open up the editor page for that menu, under “Filter collection with tags (optional)” see if there are tags listed. If there are, delete them! That fixed it for me. For some reason it was filtering out thesse items by their tags. Mo idea how that changed, but once I deleted the tags, they showed back up on my store.

None of this works. Need a better answer. New customer. Not sure I want to continue if these are the best answers. Not worth it if you have to repeatedly add same products until they show!

I know this is an old thread, but I just had this issue and figured it out. When I edited some things in Modalyst, Shopify kicked all my inventory out of the sales channel (for some reason). In Shopify, go to Products, click on one of your items. In the Publishing box for that item, click the 3 dots (…) and select Manage Sales Channels. When you then select your online store, and save before you exit that product, it will show up in your store. WHEW.

Just to add to this, the issue in my particular case was that we didn’t have Point of Sale set up, but POS was selected as a sales channel for the missing products. Literally every other product on our site was set up in the same way and showed correctly, but deselecting the POS sales channel for the missing products solved the problem.

One sales channel being misconfigured should NOT interfere with product visibility for other other sales channels, but Shopify gonna Shopify I suppose.

It’s seriously concerning that the biggest ecommerce platform in the world has such a laundry list of strange bugs related to whether a product is published or not. This is basic stuff.

Yes this solved my issue, include the item from “Excluded market”, then it back on website. Adminshow pin this solutrion on top to ssave time

After reading through every possible thread here, what fixed it for me was just duplicating the original product. For whatever reason that worked. I deleted the original one and now it’s working.
