Add a custom background image to a section in all sort of themes

Hi everyone hope you are doing well
I am currently utilizing a custom theme and I have some specific sections where I would like to incorporate a background image.
However, I have encountered a limitation within the theme customization options, which does not provide a direct method to achieve this customization.
Does anyone know how I would be able to add a custom background image to any section in all sorts of themes I mean a code that can be used for any kind of theme in Shopify.

You can add a background image to any specific section. However, you cannot add it to all sections at once, you will have to go section by section in the code adding this feature.

For example, if you want to add a text image to a rich text you can do it; you just have to edit and add this feature in the code.
