Latest update: After receiving a detailed suggestion, they tried adding the provided code to cart-drawer.liquid (the closest match to two files the helper mentioned) but it didn’t work.
Current needs: They’re unsure if cart-drawer.liquid is the correct location and are asking where the code should actually be placed to make the dropdown appear and update totals correctly.
Status: Unresolved/ongoing. Key open question: which template or component should be modified (and how) to implement the dropdown and ensure the added card price is reflected in the order total.
Thank you so much for your detailed response, but unfortunately it didn’t work. I added the code in the cart-drawer.liquid file as that was the closest to the two that you mentioned above, but I had no luck. If this is the wrong section to be adding it to, please do let me know.
